Low-Income Student Support 2023

UTeM is steadfast in making students’ support and welfare the main agenda of the University for all category of students, especially those who are from low income family. UTeM provides holistic initiatives which include financial aid, donated goods or in kind to UTeM students throughout their study period. The Student Welfare Unit is responsible for assisting the students in need. Among the support and services provided are:-

• Provide advice on financial aid (eg: Endownment Fund, Donation Fund, Waqf Fund)
• Giving consultation on channels for financial support to finance their studies
• Assist, manage and grant the UTeM Short Term Loan for students
• Ensure student health is maintained through student medical services
