Bottom Financial Quintile Student Support 2024
Universiti Teknikal Malaysia Melaka (UTeM) has structured programmes specifically designed to support students from low-income households (B40 and bottom 20% income group) to ensure access, retention and successful completion of their studies. UTeM provides comprehensive financial, nutritional and welfare support that begins at admission and continues through graduation.
In 2024, UTeM implemented five key assistance and funding initiatives for low-income household students, particularly those enrolling at Diploma level:
- Program Anak Emas
- Bantuan Pengajian TVET
- Menu Siswa Rahmah
- TUAH Care Food@Campus
- Food Bank
